Agenda :

How resilient are you? How well do you react to unexpected challenges and conflicts and life’s inevitable surprises and setbacks? It is not simply what happens to us, but how we respond to what happens to us, that has the greatest effect on our personal and professional lives. Research shows that resilient individuals outperform their peers, are better negotiators and are more personally fulfilled. Resilience is a must have leadership skill for today’s economy and this brand new seminar will help you develop it.

According to Harvard Business Review: ‘More than education, more than experience, more than training, a person’s level of resilience determines who succeeds and who fails. That’s true in the Olympics and it’s true in the boardroom’.

Seminar Objectives

·         Develop your ‘Resilience Quota’, the ability to bounce back quickly from unexpected challenges and conflicts and focusing on the things we can control rather than those we cannot.

·         Grow your thinking skills in quickly adapting to new situations and changing needs and maintaining motivation and reducing stress for yourself and your team.

·         Use resilience to become more effective in negotiations with your boss, team, clients and suppliers.

·         Get outside your normal thinking styles to effect more positive and productive outcomes and solutions for yourself and your business.

·         Have an ability to stay positive about the future yet be realistic in planning for it.

·         Develop the ability to read other’s behavioral cues to understand their psychological and emotional states and build better relationships. Resilient people are able to read others to help build deeper relationships with others, and tend to be more in tune with their own emotional intelligence.

·         Spend time with other leaders analyzing the world around you at large to develop more lateral ideas. Take previously used ideas in one industry or method and  "recycle" to create something new for you.

·         Gain latest thinking, with challenging and ‘hard hitting’ content consisting of ‘best practice’ tips and strategies for effective business planning based on what other people and organizations are doing successfully in areas relevant to you.

·         Leave with an action plan to apply practically to your own situation.

“It was tailored, punchy and met my needs and made me set time aside to think. It challenged me and my assumptions and gave me some tools to better manage a number of situations. It will greatly assist me with what I have to achieve this year.”  Aisling Burnand MBE, Chief Executive, BioIndustry Association
