Raising Your Leadership Profile
Asked to define the ideal leader, many people would emphasize traits such as intelligence, business experience and knowledge. Often left off the list are the intangible, more personal (and often very powerful) qualities such as creating the right level of leadership profile and presence with others. Yet recent rigorous studies of the top 500 companies and highest performing leaders across the globe indicate that these 'softer skills' are also essential for success - what is the point of doing a good job if no one knows about it?
