Strategic You – Decision Making for 2010
This popular one-day program from Aspire, the specialists in Coaching and Leadership development for women, is designed for senior women leaders who want to take a pro-active and strategic look at 2010.
This seminar is a day to remove yourself from the physical environment and daily responsibilities of your workplace to reflect on the 'bigger picture' and where you want to go, without interruption. As we have to be largely operational in today’s climate, the strategic element tends to become a luxury and taking the time to think and plan your year is time well spent.
Benefits you’ll gain:
· Allow for thinking time, get out of the office and learn from others.
· Explore new possibilities for your career, your team and company in the future.
· Gain confidence in your own abilities, understand the bigger picture and long-term direction then work out the steps to achieve it.
· Give yourself the time and distance to map out for your business - where do we want to be in the future; what steps do you need to take to get there; who do you need to depend on to achieve those steps?
· Be able to show and prove you are 'thinking strategically'.
· Spend time with other leaders analyzing the world around you at large to develop more lateral ideas. Take previously used ideas in one industry or method and "recycle" to create something new for you.
· Develop ways to bring people along with you, inspiring others and implementing change.
"I chose the 'Strategic You' event to help me focus on key priorities (work and home) for the next year or so. The event gave me a lot more; I had real clarity about my long-term aims. The fog lifted and I felt completely refreshed and reenergized about what I wanted to do in the future." - Mandy Clarke, Group HR Director, Halcrow
We adopt an executive coaching approach during the seminar with opportunities for discussion and debate, emphasis on personal development, sharing ideas and practical suggestions to translate learning back at work. This is not a ‘chalk and talk’ seminar - it is experiential with the opportunity for you to leave with an actual business-relevant strategy for 2010.
